The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) successfully conducted a three-day online workshop series on the Safety of Journalists in both Sinhala and Tamil languages via the zoom platform. The Tamil workshop series was held on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of August 2021 from 7 pm-8 pm while the Sinhala workshop series was held on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of September 2021 from 7 pm to 8 pm. The Tamil workshop series was attended by 92, 78, and 70 participants on the 3 sessions respectively. In addition, 73, 62, and 50 participants attended the Sinhala workshop series respectively.
