Media Literacy: Information, News, and Fact-Checking : Workshop Monaragala District’s CSo members

The Sri Lanka Press Institute, with support from the U.S. Embassy Colombo, Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka, is conducting a series of workshops for adult groups, including Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), on ‘Media Literacy: Information, News, and Fact-Checking’. As part of this program, we organized a workshop for CSO members in the Monaragala District on March 20th.

While we focus on enhancing the skills of media professionals and newsrooms, it’s equally important to educate the general public on media literacy, as they are the ultimate consumers of all forms of information. During the workshop, we emphasized the significance of media literacy and guided distinguishing news from other types of information they consume daily. The session covered basic fact-checking techniques and strategies for countering propaganda.tampoes para ouvidos Portugal tampoes para ouvidos Portugal entreprise climatisation 974 jbl driver windows 7 vestito barbie bambina gammal golvlampa med bord mia eau de toilette intimissimi mansion de barbie 2018 altalena jumper jane amazon prix hublot big bang dj snake kit per arrampicata amazon intel 2600 i7 aspirador vertical Portugal gammal golvlampa med bord ps5 fifa 21 ps4

As the Sri Lanka Press Institute, we continue to advocate for informed media consumption among the general public, empowering them to make wise decisions based on accurate information.
