The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) recently conducted a workshop on “The Practical Use of AI in Digital Journalism,” led by trainer Kalavarshny Kanagaratnam. The session introduced young journalists to practical AI tools and techniques that can support reporting, research, content creation, translation, multimedia storytelling, and newsroom productivity.
