The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) hosted a series of virtual Journalist-Lawyer Forum in partnership with UNESCO New Delhi. The forum on Sri Lanka’s legal framework and the judicial system was held on October 30th, 2023 via Zoom and was conducted in Tamil. The forum was led by Ms Mathuri Thamilmaran, Attorney-at-law, and was attended by 20 journalists. The session was fruitful and allowed journalists to bring up questions they had on the subject.
