- [Virtual Journalist-Lawyer Forum](https://slpi.lk/virtual-journalist-lawyer-forum/): The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) hosted a series of virtual Journalist-Lawyer Forum in partnership with UNESCO New Delhi. The forum on media-related laws and laws that journalists should be knowledgeable about was held on November 22nd, 2023 via Zoom and was conducted in Tamil. The forum was led by Ms Kosalai Mathan, Head of Department, Department of Law, University of Jaffna, and was attended by 40 journalists. The session provided a platform for the journalists to discuss and ask questions about certain codes of conduct and laws.
