Training on Investigative Journalism and Financial Forensics

The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) in partnership with the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) hosted a workshop in Colombo under their investigative journalism program, “Just the Facts: Investigative Journalism in Pursuit of Truth and Transparency”.

The workshop was held on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June 2023 as residential training. It was the third of a series of workshops and was titled “ Investigative Journalism and Financial Forensics”. The training was conducted by Sharad Vyas with a keynote address made by Francine McKenna. The workshop was attended by 23 journalists representing trilingual media and ended in great success.
