Human Rights Day 2022: “Dignity, Freedom, and Justice for All”.

The Sri Lanka Press Institute in collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Sri Lanka & Maldives screened the Academy Award nominated documentary ‘Writing with Fire’ for media professionals, journalists and media students on 08 December 2022 at the SLPI auditorium , in commemoration of the Human Rights Day which falls today, 10 December. The event was graced by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Sri Lanka and Maldives, HE Ms. Bonnie Horbach. The movie screening was followed by a discussion conducted by Dr. Prabha Manuratne, Senior Lecturer, University of Kelaniya and Mr. Kris Thomas Deputy Editor, Roar Media.
