Training on Counter-Disinformation for Journalists and Media Professionals

Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) in collaboration with Mythos Labs and the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives  (CFLI) conducted a training program on “Countering Disinformation” for journalists and media professionals in Jaffna District on 30 August 2022 at Tilko City Hotel. The training session was conducted by Editor and Media Trainer, Mohomad Fairooz in Tamil. The training program covered areas such as the landscape of disinformation in Sri Lanka, ways to identify disinformation and protect against it, and reporting disinformation.
