“A Strong Parliament for a Democratic Tomorrow” – Provincial Workshop for Youth

The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) conducts workshops for youth to improve their political literacy and as an effort to promote democracy at provincial level. To this end, the SLPI conducted the Uva province workshop on 11th June 2022 where 20 youth participants engaged with the awareness on Parliamentary Procedure. The main session was conducted by Mr. Manjula Gajanayake,  Executive Director, Institute for Democratic Reforms and Election Studies (IRES) . Hon. MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara and former MP Mrs. Sumedha G. Jayasena took part in the program in sharing their experience in office.
