A Strong Parliament for a Democratic Future

The Sri Lanka Press Institute conducted a virtual workshop series for 131 youth from the 9 provinces in Sri Lanka titled ‘A Strong Parliament for a Democratic Future’ from October to December 2021. The objective of the workshops was to improve the political literacy of the youth in Sri Lanka and the programmes were graced by the expertise of Rohana Hettiarachchi, Executive Director of PAFFREL, Sachinda Dulanjana, former speaker of the Youth Parliament, and Chathurika L. Akurugoda, Attorney-at-Law & Senior Lecturer of Faculty of Law, University of Colombo.
