Workshops on Digital and Online Safety for Journalists

The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) successfully conducted the second round of the Journosafety workshop series  under the title of  “Digital and Online Safety for Journalists” . The workshop series was held in both Sinhala and Tamil languages via the zoom platform. The Sinhala workshop  was held on the 20th of September 2021 at 5.00 pm. Resource person for the workshop was Kasun Kumarage, Team Lead,  FactSeeker, SLPI . The Tamil webinar was held on the 28th September 2021 at 7.00 pm and it was conducted by Benislos Thushan, Founder, Digital Storytelling.  The programs were attended by a total of 120  participants.
