Communicative Skills in English for Journalists

The Project has been initiated  by Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) and Funded by US Embassy Sri Lanka to make Sri Lankan journalists whose first language is either Sinhala or Tamil, to become better communicators of English, thereby enabling them to establish a stronger dialogue among diverse ethnic groups of journalists, citizens and international community. Also to  provide opportunity to build their capacity through the vast English resource materials and knowledge portals that are available online and to overcome any future suppression of expressions in media, and use the social-media platform to freely express themselves.
